Derby Festé is looking for people to complete questionnaires with members of the audience attending this year’s festival. The work will involve completing short questionnaires with members of the public. The purpose is to gather information about what people think of the events.
You will be required to work in and around Derby city centre during Festé to ask the public about their experience of performances using Arts Council England’s national Audience Finder survey.
Why audience research?
You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable speaking to people face to face.
You will also be required to read through information about the survey before starting and participate in one 30 minute training session prior to your first shift.
This will provide you with techniques for achieving a random sample of people. It will also provide opportunity for you to familiarise yourself with the questionnaire. This is likely to take place around mid-September, date and location to be confirmed.
