In this class you will learn movements centred around your hips, torso and subtly moving spine in order to create an expressive whole similar to the abstract patterns found in Arabic art. Your legs will carry you through space, varying from earthly steps to a more expansive flow and your arms will subtly punctuate the rhythm of the music.
Salise Pearson from the Belly Dance Flames
Salise Pearson is a Belly Dance tutor with a wealth of experience. An experienced Raqs Sharqi belly dancer and choreographer, Salise has managed belly dance troupes for many years. She formed performance group The Belly Dance Flames in 2005.
