IYENGAR Yoga (Level 1)
An ideal class for students who are new to yoga or newcomers to IYENGAR Yoga. Students are introduced to the basic asanas (yoga poses) in a progressive way in order to experience the fundamental characteristics of IYENGAR Yoga practice: alignment, precision, extension and stability. Strength, stamina and flexibility improve over time.
IYENGAR Yoga (Level 2)
An intensive class, suitable for those who have attended IYENGAR Yoga classes regularly for a number of years and can hold a steady Sirsasana (head balance) and Sarvangasana (shoulder stand). Familiar asanas are worked on in more depth and more challenging poses are introduced.

Charlotte Rosser, Derby IYENGAR Yoga, has been practising IYENGAR Yoga since 2004. She trained as a teacher at the prestigious Iyengar Yoga Institute of Birmingham and has since obtained the Intermediate Junior Level 1 Qualification in IYENGAR Yoga.
