Bounceback Auditions

Bounceback is an exciting young company for the dedicated young dancer, choreographer or dance leader aged 13 – 19yrs.
The aims of the company are as follows:

• To devise, rehearse and perform new youth dance work which demonstrates excellence in choreography and performance at local, regional, national and international events.
• To enable young people to work alongside artists who have local, regional, national or international profiles.
• To facilitate young people as creators, leaders and decision-makers in a dance-specific context.

In 2011/12, Bounceback will be working with Déda’s own Dance Artists Chris Caffrey and Bryony Mylroie Smith and Déda’s Associate Choreographer, nationally acclaimed Tom Dale for the second time. Over the course of the year a new piece of work will be made and shaped through the combined creative processes between Bounceback members and these artists. Previous artists worked with include; Christine Devaney, Luke Sutherland and José Agudo.

The company will meet weekly during term-time on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm -9.00pm starting on the 4th May  2011.
