In 2011, Interface 11 involved over 200 young people and 20 Dance Groups and took place in the heart of the city at Derby Theatre.

 
This year Déda is proud to be presenting Interface 12, the county-wide youth dance platform providing a fantastic opportunity for young people to perform in a professional venue taking the platform back to the beautiful historic Buxton Opera House in Derbyshire.

How to Apply
To apply for the chance to perform at Interface 12, simply complete the application form and return it to Dance4 who are the Regional hosts for the U.Dance platforms. This year there is one application form to apply for the county, regional and national events and you can specify which event you are putting your group forward for on the first page of the application. Please see the guidance notes for full details.

To support your application you should include a DVD or video of the group’s recent performances or classes.  We would also like your group to submit a personal statement detailing why they want to be a part of Interface 12.

From these applications, a panel will decide which groups are most appropriate and will benefit from the Interface 12 experience, alongside seeking to present a diverse and varied programme.

 
Be aware groups will be chosen based only on their application to Interface 12, therefore please ensure your group’s application is the best possible representation of their work.
