On Saturday, Festé will focus on the best in live music, with performances in the Market Place and on Cathedral Green.
2:00pm - Salsa procession - Los Ninos Con Ritmo (Children With Rhythm)
Created by Derby Jazz, QUAD and Dedá with over 100 local children, this spectacular Salsa procession will parade along Cornmarket and Sadler Gate, leading you to a fantastic finale on the Cathedral Green.
3:00pm - Picnic on the Green, Cathedral Green
Bring your picnic, family and friends and prepare for a feast of entertainment and laughter. Maison Foo will be your hostesses as The Trolly Dollies, wild 50’s housewives roaming the Green offering tips on ‘proper’ Picnic protocol. The People’s Stage at Cathedral Green will feature great performances of music and dance for all the family to enjoy. Roaming the Green you’re sure to meet characters like The Vegetable Nannies, The Van Dunk Brothers, The Frantic Film Crew and Fraser Hooper’s ‘Funny Business’, amongst others.

As the sun sets, seven drumming majors will process through the Market Place and be lifted 35 meters into the air to form a giant drumming human mobile. Combining circus skills, music and acrobatics, this has to be seen to be believed!
10:00pm - Addictive TV, BBC Big Screen, Market Place
Addictive TV, the world's number one Audio Visual Artists, will bring their unique blend of classic and contemporary film, dance music and stunning visuals together for a spectacular performance using the BBC Big Screen. Food and drink outlets on the Market Place will be open for refreshments, tables and benches will be available, or bring your own seat.
