Sunday - Darley Park Concert and Fireworks Display
Festé09 will end with street arts events taking place throughout the city before the crowds make their way to Darley Park for the annual concert and fireworks. Be part of the 30,000-strong crowd at the UK's largest FREE outdoor classical concert as Festé 09 concludes with the amazing concert and firework finale.
3.00pm - Flame Oz - Calvos
Experience Flame Oz in the Market Place as weird and wonderful creatures delight you with a display of levitating crystal balls. Stunning silver characters in intricate costumes perform with crystal balls that glide, float, dance and levitate around their bodies.
5.30pm - Picnic at Darley Park
Get the best place in the park by arriving early for the annual Darley Park Concert. While you wait for the show to start be entertained by Flame Oz’s Calvos.

Curios, winners of the 2008 BBC Jazz Awards Band of The Year. They are led by Derby-born
Tom Cawley on piano who is joined by drummer
Josh Blackmore who also hails from the city.
7:00pm - Sinfonia ViVA
Join
sinfonia ViVA and regular Darley Park concert
conductor James Holmes in the wonderful setting of Darley
Park for a spectacular programme of music with links to all
things astronomical. This year they are joined by sensational
soprano
Laura Parfitt. With an amazing music and firework
finale, come along and be part of the 30,000 strong crowd
at the UK’s largest free outdoor classical concert.
