Ant Hampton (Rotozaza) and Glen Neath: The Bench
WHEN: 10am - 8pm
COST: FREE
On park benches throughout Derby's city centre
A mischievous dialogue between two people who have never met before.
The Bench mixes real and fictional tensions to create a funny and somewhat surreal 45 minute experience for two people meeting for the first time. Like Rotozaza'a Etiquette (in QUAD café Festé 2009). This is your stage. You are the actor and the audience. You wear headphones which tell you both what to say and do. By simply listening and responding accordingly the dialogue and small movements fall into place.
To book your ‘Bench’ experience and reserve mp3 and headphones follow the simple instructions on http://www.anthampton.com/bench_derby.html or contact QUAD box office on 01332 290606
Co-Commissioned by Derby Festé, Norfolk and Norwich Festival and Fusebox, USA.
