Volunteering offers a chance to become part of Derby Festé
Members of the public are invited to be part of this year’s Derby Festé. Volunteer Events Assistants are required over the Festé weekend, from 24th to 26th September 2010. Derby Festé isan annual free festival bringing together world class live performance, music, film and more. This year’s festival will bring a variety of international and local artists together for three days of breathtaking live performances.
Besides being involved in the highlight of Derby’s cultural calendar, Volunteer Events Assistants will receive a Festé volunteering pack, which includes tickets and goodies from the Festé partner venues: Déda, QUAD and Derby Live.
The Volunteer Events Assistants’ duties across the Festé weekend will range from artist liaison to managing a public space on Cathedral Green, the Luminarium. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about festivals, live events and production. Volunteers will need to be lively, motivated and committed individuals aged 18 and above.
