DANCE DEVELOPMENT CO-ORDINATOR (maternity cover)

Applications are being sought by Déda for a Dance Development Co-ordinator (full-time).

This is a temporary contract for an eight month period to cover staff Maternity Leave (27 February - 2 November 2012).

The role entails day-to-day running of the Dance Development Team, as well as co-ordination work on the Legacy Trust UK Community Celebration project, Games Time, scheduled to take place in three locations accross the East Midlands between May and October 2012.

Salary £18,000 - £20,000 (per annum pro rata) dependent on experience.

Closing Date 19 January
Interviews will be held week commencing 23 January
Handover week to begin 27 February

Déda (formerly known as Derby Dance) is a unique venue located in Derby city centre offering a dance-focussed arts programme. The building houses two performance spaces, two professionally equipped dance studios, conferencing facilities and the CUBE café|bar.

With a class curriculum of over 50 classes a week and an extensive community development programme, Déda is one of the key cultural organisations in the city.
