![]() |
On Saturday 14 January at 8pm, Déda is pleased to present a traditional Céilidh with live music from DanceCupola.
Cupola has three local musicians at its core: Sarah Matthews, Doug Eunson and Oli Matthews. Playing melodeons, fiddles, viola and soprano saxophone, and blending effortlessly with their own sublime vocal harmonies, the band will develop dance sets from the best of traditional material and their own compositions. Their infectious enthusiasm and wonderfully danceable sound will ensure everyone has a great time.
All dances will be taught beforehand and called throughout, so the Céilidh is suitable for everyone - from absolute beginners to Céilidh regulars. There’s no partner required, and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere throughout the evening - just turn up, have a go if you want to and have plenty of fun.
Tickets are £7 and available from the Déda Box Office. To book tickets please call 01332 370911.
