Déda has launched an online petition to enable audiences to protest against Derby City Council's latest budget proposals.

This is in response to the catastrophic budget proposals announced last week.

The petition - at http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/keepderbydancing/ - also features a Blog where Déda staff will write about what they're doing as part of the campaign.

Under current proposals, Déda will have its city council funding totally withdrawn within a four year period. But the reality is that without this support the survival of Déda is in doubt from 2013.

There is also a paper petition at the Chapel Street venue.
