Tall Stories theatre company return to Déda with The Snow Dragon, a perfect wintery show suitable for the whole family!
Following last year’s hugely successful performance of Twinkle Twonkle, the company that bought you hit shows The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo’s Child return with their timeless magical stories told using physical theatre, puppetry and humour.
Based on the original story by Toby Mitchell, join Billy the Kid on his adventure. Billy’s parents tell him about the legendary Snow Dragon that will bring him goodies on New Year’s Eve if he leaves out berries. So he sets off on a mission to collect as many as he can.
Looking for berries becomes very hard work, and Billy finds it much easier to ‘borrow’ from his friends. However, it’s getting dark in the woods and there are wolves lurking in the shadows. As a result, it turns out to be a New Year that Billy won’t forget!
Tall Stories was founded in 1997 by joint artistic directors Toby Mitchell and Olivia Jacobs. They have created a string of hit shows including Mr Benn and Room on the Broom for children and families which have toured across the UK and internationally to great reviews.
The Snow Dragon is recommended for children aged 4+ and tickets are priced at £6. Tickets can be purchased from the Box Office on 01332 370911 or at www.deda.uk.com.
