The Web of Water is an international art exhibition focussing on the increasingly prevalent issue of water around the world. Forty three artists have looked at how water in different cultures is celebrated, understood and managed through the use of bridges, canals and wells.
Artcore's project harnesses both Indian and UK-based artists to explore the cultural, historical and traditional uses of water, as well as the social, political and environmental consequences of modern day misuse of this vital resource. Art is the vehicle to transport this message across geographical borders.
On 27 September from 4:30 – 6.00pm, there will be a celebration event for this exhibition at Déda.
