Take a look at our other workshops and talks programmed this season.
Come along for this creative and fun workshop with artist Del Coombs.
Play with the ideas and materials Del has used in his year long exhibition; make nine pieces of work to be displayed in a 3-by-3 grid using paper-based materials, bring anything colourful, to be cut, torn, folded or glued and, above all, more than one of each piece.
Suitable for all ages, little-uns should bring an adult but adults don't have to bring little-uns, teenagers can bring adults or little-uns or teenagers. The focus is to have fun and get inspired by the ideas presented throughout the main exhibition.
Afternoon tea in the CUBE café|bar will be served following the workshop.
Please Note: Although participants can bring their own, there will be materials supplied to participate in the workshop.
About Del Coombs Exhibition
A culmination of 3 years work, artist Del Coombs exploited his obsessive tendency to create 3 pieces of work each day creating just over 3,000 pieces of work. By re-using materials, found items, and ideas, Del creates visual comments on his own life and the world around him. The exhibition is currently on display at Déda from January to December 2017. There will be thirteen different 4 week presentations based on his work from 2014 to 2016.
