Job - Creative Producer
Position: Creative Producer
Package: £24,000 full-time 30 hours a week plus other benefits
Location: City Centre Derby and from home
Déda is seeking to recruit a new member to its creative team, someone who is at ease with change, challenge and innovation. Someone who can enrich Déda with their ideas and beliefs, their artistic flair and cultural knowledge.
This is an exciting time for Déda as it adapts and moves into the future. As a leading NPO arts organisation in the Midlands for Dance, Contemporary Circus and Outdoor Performance, we are searching for someone who is comfortable working with all types of artforms in all types of situations; work that can merge and crossover, inspire and move, adapt and create new ways of presenting and experiencing the performing arts – from traditional theatre based contemporary dance - to site specific circus, sound, installation, visual and performance-based work in a festival context.
The Creative Producer role will provide the right person a truly exceptional opportunity to be part of a team that is redefining both Déda’s role and place in Derby’s cultural economy, in line with the Arts Council England’s “Lets Create” manifesto, to broaden and amplify the organisation’s broader position in the arts community in the Midlands and beyond.
Déda offers someone, possibly you, the chance to be truly creative, truly engaged, fundamentally involved in enriching people’s lives through Déda’s artistic programme and its impact on the public’s imagination and wellbeing.
