I am a London born, first-generation Greek Cypriot creative producer based in the UK and I have been practising for more than a decade with a Masters from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in Creative Producing. Recent Companies include; Clod Ensemble, DanceXchange, Beatfreeks, Nest Collective and Free Radical as part of the Beatfreeks Collective.
I recently led on high-profile work for Birmingham International Dance Festival 2018, which featured 338 artists, focusing on the outdoor and of-site programme making up fifty per cent of activity and ran for a month in sites across the city. I have also produced, This is An Island, a Sky Arts and DanceXchange project with creative direction from award-winning choreographer Gary Clarke, which toured to the Barbican and Sage Gateshead before featuring on the Art 50 Sky Arts tv series. I am currently the Creative Producer for Déda leading on programming and artistic development, including the annual outdoor festival Derby Féste.
I am passionate about work that champions radical social practice, including artists that consider the relationship between the audience and their environment and converge these moments into a collective opportunity for discourse and relational cultural significance.
