Learning Coordinator [ReImagine]
I am a part-time Learning Coordinator on the Reimagine project - supporting Déda's work across schools, community venues and in the building, through our work in the Derwent/Chaddesden ward. I previously was the Dance Development and Learning Coordinator for This is Derby for 2019, supporting the advancement of arts and sports across the city, and towards public performance in Derby Market Place.
Before joining the Dance Development and Learning Team at Déda, I was previously the Sales and Fundraising Assistant in the Development Team, and Sales and Customer Services Assistant prior to that.
I am part-time Co-Producer for Hubbub Theatre, a learning-disabled charity that Déda works closely with, and am also a Creative Mentor, working with Plus One to grant creative opportunities for children in care.
As a freelance playwright and creative writing facilitator I have worked with Derby Theatre, Paines Plough and Derbyshire LGBT+. I am a New Associate of New Perspectives Theatre Company.
My dance-theatre piece 'Bonfire' is currently in development after an Arts Council Supported R&D.
