Name a seat at Déda for £150. Naming a seat is a great idea for a gift, to mark your child’s achievement, commemorate a loved one, or simply show your support for dance and the arts.
Your seat sponsorship will be marked by a plaque with an inscription of your choice and will be guaranteed for a minimum of 5 years, or for £250 will be guaranteed for 10 years.
Your donation will have a huge impact on the future of Déda and make a real difference to our work.

How to order your seat plaque
When you place your order, you will receive an email asking for some information including what message you would like on the plaque and whether you have specific seat in mind. Once we have received your order details we will send off for the plaque. We ask that you allow one month for the plaque to be installed and we’ll get in touch to let you know when it is in place.
If you want to sit in your seat when you come to see a performance then please arrive early! We don’t usually reserve seats.

How much does it cost to name a seat?
It costs £150 to name a seat. You can add a donation on top of this if you like. Your plaque will be fixed to the seat for a minimum of 5 years. After which it will stay there until the seat naming is re-sold. For £250 your plaque will be guaranteed for a minimum of 10 years.

Can I choose which seat my plaque goes on?
Yes, subject to availability. Please see our Theatre Seating Plan (on the ‘Name a Seat’ page on the website) to find your preferred seat number. Remember the plaques go on the back of the seat, so they’ll be seen from the seat behind.

Where does the plaque go?
It will be fixed to the back of the seat.

Can I sit on my seat when I come to see a performance at Déda?
We don’t usually sell seat specific tickets, and can’t guarantee your seat will be available. We advise you arrive early for the performance to be able to choose your seat.

Can I choose the colour and style of my plaque?
The plaques are all the same size/colour/style to keep our Theatre looking smart.

Can I name a seat as a gift to someone else?
Yes, you can choose your own personalised message to go on the plaque. Naming a seat is a great idea for a gift, to mark an achievement, commemorate a loved one, or simply show your support for dance and the arts here in Derby.

How long can the message on my plaque be?
We recommend no longer than 20 words to ensure it fits on the plaque.

Is Déda a Charity?
Yes, our charity number is 1053633. If you can gift aid your £150 donation we will be able to draw down an additional £30 at no extra cost to you!
Keep Derby Festé Free
Festé is funded by Déda as part of its Arts Council England funding and Derby City Council, but only partially. To put on a spectacular Festival for you we also need support from other sources. If you love Festé and would be happy to donate to the 2023 event please donate what you can.
