Why Support Déda

Donate to Déda and help us in our mission to enrich people’s lives with dance and the arts. We work with schools and community groups in Derby to improve education, health and wellbeing and social mobility with people facing barriers because of social injustice and inequality.

Dance and creative movement are fantastic in lots of ways - a great way to: engage with children who have difficulty in a traditional school setting; help to improve balance and stability in later life; reduce isolation and have a positive impact on people’s health and wellbeing.

We work hard to develop local talent, make our facilities affordable, and to reach the widest possible audience. Whilst we receive funding from Arts Council England, as a charity Déda also relies on the generosity of our members, supporters and loyal audiences to help us do this.

Déda is a registered charity no. 1053633. We are regulated by the Fundraising Regulator.

If you can please tick the gift aid box. It means that for every pound you give, we can claim an additional 25p from the Inland Revenue, at no extra cost to you.
