Meditative Movement
The
class will explore elements of Vinyasa and Hatha yoga, pranayama (breath work),
mobilisation and finding strength and softest in the body through movement.
Concentrating on connecting to the nervous system. Giving extra attention to
how you are feeling at present and knowing that this can vary from day to day.
The class will start slowly, by bringing the attention inwards into a meditative state. We will then move through some breath work bringing awareness to our natural breathing pattern and our organs. Leading then into mobilisation to prepare for a more structured way of moving, through yoga and somatic practices. The class is dynamic and fluid at times, generating heat and strength through the body. The final part of the class will slow down and end with some relaxation poses, with the option for a hands-on assists.
Suitable clothing for exercise, comfortable and movable. Along with something warm for the last/ slower part of class.
