TRACES: A Collaborative Exhibition of Prints by Green Door Printmaking Studio

Green Door Printmaking Studio is proud to present a collaborative exhibition of prints; TRACES.

All printmaking is fundamentally about creating an impression and leaving a mark. Green Door Printmakers were invited to create a body of work to examine and explore the concept of ‘traces’, an open directive to which every artist has responded, whilst also utilising Green Door Printmaking Studio’s ethos of environmentally sound printmaking practices.

Traces explores the concept of balance and ecosystems, to cellular and man made structures, alongside defunct technology and generational inheritance. This collection of collaborative work examines humanity in its many forms through tracing ancestry, vestiges, and the impact made by chaos and collision. The Exhibition offers the opportunity to look at printmaking in its many forms and illustrates how through individual interpretation, both figurative and literal impressions are made on the Artist, Artwork and Audience.
