Small Island Stories 2 is an audio and visual production based around stories of those who came to Derby on the Windrush and those of their descendants, first, second and third generations.
The production is predominantly based around the artform of Hip Hop and spoken word with features from a number of local artists to create a body of eclectic work inspired by the Windrush movement and influences from the Caribbean that has become entwined and part of common culture within Great Britain.

Pay What You Decide
A new way to explore and experience theatre, dance, music and circus at Déda.
Pay What You Decide (PWYD) allows you to attend shows without paying for a ticket beforehand, although tickets can still be reserved prior to a performance. After the show, you have the opportunity to make a donation of what you decide you want to or can afford to pay, based on your overall enjoyment of the performance.
