We look forward to welcoming you back to Déda in the near future!
Covid-19 update on Monday 4 January: Déda and the CUBE are temporarily closed to the public. Please read our full statement here.
We hope to welcome you back to the building soon. When we are able to welcome you back into our building, we have introduced the following health and safety measures to protect customers, staff and students.
We have introduced the following health and safety measures that seek to reduce the risk associated with Covid-19 ready for your return. These are in line with Government advice and the requirements of local health authorities. This includes reduced activity in the building, 2 metre social distancing and the use of face coverings.
Track and Trace
You will be asked to enter your contact details when entering the building. Déda will keep a temporary record of your details for 21 days to assist the NHS Test and Trace with requests for data if needed. This could help contain clusters or outbreaks.
There will be a new digital sign-in process. Simply scan the QR code when entering or alternatively a member of staff will take your details.
CUBE café | bar
There will be 2m distance between each table and no more than 6 people per table. Tables can only be occupied by people from within one household or bubble.
All bookings must be made prior to the event. Please book in advance online via our website. Due to limited capacity, we advise booking early to avoid any disappointment.
We ask that you please do not attend the building if you start to display or experience any COVID-19 symptoms. Before attending an event or activity, please carefully follow any additional guidance sent by our team in advance or as advised by our team on the day.
Remember to keep an eye on our website or social media channels for any further updates and please feel free to email our team with any queries or FAQs prior to your visit.
There will be new signage on display throughout the building with key health and safety information and directions. If you are unsure about what to do, please ask a member of our team.
We ask that you keep a 2m distance from others at all times. Barriers and 2 metre-distanced floor markers will be in place. Our toilets on both levels will be open but please follow the distancing guidance.
We ask that visitors wear a face mask when walking around our building at all times unless you are exempt or under the age of 11. The face covering can be removed when eating food or drink from our CUBE café|bar.
We support anyone who does not wish or is unable to wear a face covering due to a physical, mental or hidden disability and are proud advocates of the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme.
Hand sanitiser stations are now situated in key places around the building and should be used frequently. Our team have been busy deep-cleaning the building ready for your return and will continue to follow a rigorous cleaning regime concentrating on busier contact areas.
There will be antibacterial spray and cloths available in our studios for each user to wipe down equipment being used/after use. The studio spaces will be sanitised with a fogger before each new member/group or hire will be allowed to enter.
A perspex screen will also be in place at our box office.
Every studio and space has a new capacity to comply with government guidelines and are assigned their own toilet facilities.
We are hoping to bring you an exciting programme of online classes for children, young people and adults soon. Please keep an eye on our website and social media channels for more updates.
