We are pleased to be open and to welcome you to Déda!
The Déda Team
Your safety is important to us
We want everyone to feel as safe as they can be and are conscious that many people who use our building have not yet been fully vaccinated or may not be able to have the vaccine. With this in mind we will be keeping many of our precautions in place. Please read our full statement here
Covid measures will continue to be monitored by Déda’s health and safety team and we will update guidance as needed.
Track and Trace
We have the NHS Trace and Trace QR code displayed for you to easily scan when you enter the building. If you do not use the app but would like to leave your details for track and trace purposes please go to the reception desk and a member of our Visitor Experience team will take your details.
Déda will keep a temporary record of your details for 21 days to assist the NHS Test and Trace with requests for data if needed. This could help contain clusters or outbreaks. Our Test and Trace procedure and paperwork is GDPR compliant.
Déda café|bar
The Déda café|bar is open to the public. Our café tables are well spaced and we have hand sanitiser available throughout the building.
Bookings
We are running events, performances and classes in the building. Tickets are on sale and will be delivered in the form of an e-ticket. For a full breakdown of the classes we have available please go to: www.deda.uk.com/classes and for events see www.deda.uk.com/whats-on. Please book in advance online via our website.
Arrival
We ask that you please do not attend the building if you start to display or experience any COVID-19 symptoms.
Keep an eye on our website or social media channels for any further updates and please feel free to email our team with any queries or FAQs prior to your visit.
Face Masks
Mask wearing is still advised in the building, particularly in crowded areas and during performance with the exception of eating, drinking or doing exercise.
We support anyone who does not wish or is unable to wear a face covering due to a physical, mental or hidden disability and are proud advocates of the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme.
We have introduced our own limited edition Déda face masks to help keep you safe and help you stand out! The masks cost £5 each with all proceeds going towards our helping children and young people to access the arts. Place your orders at: https://deda.ticketsolve.com/products/regular
Hygiene
Hand sanitiser stations are situated in key places around the building and should be used frequently. Our team continue to follow a rigorous cleaning regime concentrating on busier contact areas.
There will be antibacterial spray and cloths available in our studios for each user to wipe down equipment being used/after use. The studio spaces including the theatre will continue to be fogged daily.
A perspex screen will stay in place at our box office.
Studios
Air handling systems are in place in all our studios. You will not be required to wear a mask while participating in one of our classes. Changing rooms, showers and lockers are open and ready for use.
Please pre-book your class tickets to avoid waiting times at our box office. You can do this online via our website and the ticket can be sent straight to your smart phone.
